Training Title Quality Standards

Title Guidelines and Quality Standards

To ensure your training title meets quality standards, consider the following recommendations:

  1. Focus on Learning Outcomes: Craft a title and subtitle that clearly communicate what students will learn and how they can apply the skills acquired. Avoid overly promotional language that may appear deceptive to students.

  2. Be Specific: Clearly indicate the target audience and skill level of the training. Specify the type of course within the field and highlight what students will be able to accomplish or understand upon completion.

  3. Keep it Concise: Aim for titles with 60 characters or fewer to maintain clarity and brevity.

If your course pertains to creating or marketing courses on Therapy Sheets:

  • Include “Unofficial” at the end of the course title.

Avoid the following in your title and subtitle:

  1. Monetary Promises: Refrain from making direct references to financial promises or specific amounts of income in the title, subtitle, or training description. Focus instead on the skills students will acquire.

  2. Avoid Over-Capitalization and Special Characters: Ensure your title and subtitle are properly formatted and free of unnecessary punctuation, capitalization, or special characters that may detract from readability.

  3. Limit Use of “Therapy Sheets”: Unless your training specifically pertains to creating or marketing courses on Therapy Sheets, avoid using the term “Therapy Sheets” in the title or subtitle.

Keep in mind that adherence to these guidelines is essential for passing the Quality Review Process.
